Want to receive e-mail notification about changes, cancellations, and added events?  Just follow the steps below, and stay up to date with ease.


  1. 1.To activate the email notifications you will need a Google account.  If you don’t already have one, you can sign up for one here.  If you already have an account, skip to Step 2.


  2. 2.Once you have created a Google account, return to the Calendar page of the Dream Center website.  At the bottom-right hand corner of the calendar click the ‘+ Google Calendar’ button.


  3. 3.The Dream Center Dance Academy Calendar is now added to your Google account.  Now you need to set up the notifications.  On the left side of the screen you will see ‘Dream Center Dance Academy’ listed under ‘Other Calendars.’ Click the drop-down arrow next to it and select ‘Notifications’


  4. 4.Check the checkboxes for the notifications you want to receive. You also have the option to get text message notification if you want.


  5. 5.Click Save



  6. All email notifications will be sent to your new Google account.  If you would rather they go to another email account follow the next few steps.



  7. 1.Go to the Google mail page by clicking here.


  8. 2.Click ‘Settings’ at the top right of the Inbox page.


  9. 3.Within the ‘Settings’ window, click on the ‘Filters’ link and click ‘Create a new filter’


  10. 4. In the ‘From:’ text box, type in “dreamcenterdance@gmail.com” and then click ‘Next Step’


  11. 5. Check the ‘Forward It To:’ checkbox and then type in the email address that you wish to receive notifications at.


  12. 6. Click ‘Create Filter’ and then you’re all done.
