Discover and Dance program

Discover & Dance is a unique and original early childhood dance program where students learn the foundations of dance while developing cognitively and socially.

Our program will help your child discover body awareness, coordination, strength, and balance, all while learning early dance technique and vocabulary. Our program will help your child hit physical milestones, important to your child's growth.

Your child will learn/practice social and cognitive skills that will help your child's educational growth. Discover & Dance will help your child: Work in cooperative groups, Share, Follow Directions, Practice classroom manners, Recognize letters/names/shapes/colors, Count, Create patterns, Learn about other cultures, Express emotions, & more!

All of our Discover & Dance teachers receive extensive training, specific to the goals of the program and the needs of the children. All of our teachers are professional, have been working with children for numerous years and have college degrees in either Dance and/or Education. Our program is child-centered, therefore parent communication is a key component to our program.

Watch as your child learns and grows as a dancer. Your child's confidence will soar, creativity will boom, all while having fun and instilling the love of dance!

Starquest and Dancexplosion

Though the 2010 Dance Company Regional Season has sadly drawn to a close, we are extremely proud of our dancers and what they have accomplished. We can’t wait to see them perform again at Nationals this July. Keep up the hard work dancers! Recital News

It’s almost that time!!! We are very excited about our upcoming recital, “The American Dream”, June 12th and 13th at SUNY Old Westbury. Over the next week, all parents will be receiving our recital mailing. This packet includes information about show times, ticket sales, dress rehearsal times, booster information and more. Please read over all of the information carefully, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Don’t forget: Picture day is Monday, April 19th for company dancers, Tuesday, April 20th for all main division dancers. Make sure that your dancer has all required tights and shoes prior to coming in that day. We are looking forward to a wonderful show!!!
